Orientations

New members are required to come to an orientation session prior to their online account activation. This important step helps get new members started off on the right foot while safeguarding the private information of our current members. When you come to an orientation, plan to spend about an hour getting acquainted with timebanking and the software we use to track our exchanges.

Upcoming Virtual Orientations
In accordance with physical distancing recommendations due to the pandemic, we have suspended in-person orientations and shifted to virtual meetings over Zoom. RSVP for any of these sessions here, and we’ll send you the link to attend.

Here’s a list of our upcoming sessions in 2021 (or check our calendar link above):

  • Saturday, February 13 – 10:00 a.m.
  • Monday, February 22 – 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 13 – 10:00 a.m.
  • Monday, March 22 – 7:00 p.m.

  1. I am very interested in joining! However, evenings are a very bad time for me to attend an orientation. Is there any way I can participate in an orientation remotely? Otherwise, I am available Monday and Friday AMs.

  2. I would love to come and get more acquainted with this endeavor. Unfortunately, Tuesdays and Wednesdays I work till 7PM in Ivy. Any other possible avenues to get oriented, etc..

  3. Hello , I will be visiting Charlottesville this Saturday, Sunday and Monday – March 29 – 31. I belong to the Timebank in Phoenixville, Pa. (near Philadelphia). Is anything happening on these dates – Farmer’s market, social, meeting , and so on? My email address is
Lmcponies@aol.com. I will also be looking for a home in the area with room for horses. I look forward to hearing from you. Margo and Joel Ketchum, from my time bank, gave me your contact information.

  4. I want to find a group like this that will provide exchanges of services in either Roanoke, Virginia or closer to where I live which is in Montvale, Virginia. Will you let me know if I can make contact with anyone? Thank You. Constance
